Doing the Essential Work

While keeping an eye on the breakneck speed of AI development, our team at Red Moose Translation & Employment Services will continue to do the essential work required:

  • to certify the translation of the documents required for your immigration application
  • to craft effective marketing materials for your job applications
  • to prepare you to perform to the best of your ability in job interviews.

That means the following for projects related to:

Translations

  1. We will not employ any AI tools for translation projects without first discussing with you the scope and purpose for which they are to be used.
  2. Only old-school translations, i.e. ones performed in-house or outsourced to carefully vetted colleagues, will be produced and delivered to you.
  3. We always strive for the highest quality, because we translate documents as if they were intended for our own immigration applications.
  4. In the rare event AI tools are needed for your project and you give us permission to use them, all sensitive information contained in your source documents will be properly redacted beforehand.
  5. We will never accept AI-generated translations.

Resumés, cover letters & LinkedIn profiles (‘copywriting’)

  1. We will not employ any AI tools for copywriting projects without first discussing with you the scope and purpose for which they are to be used.
  2. The human touch is central to each stage of your project. That means that entering into a conversation with you. We are curious about your career to date and will think critically and creatively about how your skills, credentials, dreams & opportunities align with the Canadian job market. Together with you, we will then chart your preferred outcomes against current vacancies.
  3. We always strive for the highest quality, because we write copy as if it were intended for our own job applications.
  4. In the rare event AI tools are needed for your project and you give us permission to use them, all sensitive information deemed necessary for your copy will be inserted only at the very end of your project. By doing so, we are able to protect your personal details, while making it possible to orient ourselves to job vacancies in industries we have to become more familiar with.
  5. We will never accept AI-generated copy.

In every other respect, professional codes of conduct will be complied with and industry standards abided by.
